I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education with an emphasis in choral/general music and piano from Kent State University and my Masters of Arts degree in Music Education from the Kodály Institute at Capital University. I have completed levels I, II and III of the Kodály method of teaching from Capital and am certified and incorporate this method and philosophy in my teaching.
I am also a 2004 graduate of St. Francis DeSales and a graduate of St. Paul Elementary in Westerville. I feel very lucky to work in the Columbus Catholic schools that were a huge part of my education growing up.
I enjoy playing the piano, cello, singing, karaokeing, watching movies, reading, traveling and spending time with friends and family. I am happily married to my husband Mike and we have a 1 year old daughter, Elaina.
