Hello! My name is Beth Marvin. I am the Kindergarten-Lions teacher.
I have been a part of Catholic schools my entire life! I attended St. James the Less and St. Francis Desales. I then attended and graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in early childhood education. I began my teaching career at St. James the Less, where I taught for 11 years as a looping first- and second-grade teacher. This is my second year teaching at St. Pius X.
My husband and I have two children, a daughter who is five and attends St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Preschool and a son who is one. We love basketball and football, and anything Disney.
Part of why I love teaching kindergarten is because it is a new experience for both the students and their families. I love being a part of a family's first school experience. It is exciting and fun to watch the students grow each and every day. I am honored and blessed to share in this with each of my students.
