Welcome to

St. Pius X

Catholic School!

St. Pius X has a rich tradition steeped in faith formation and academic excellence. Students are challenged to reach their full potential and grow in their faith over the course of their elementary school years. Our faculty views education as a partnership with our parents and knows all students learn differently. St. Pius X offers a comprehensive Preschool through 8th grade curriculum serving nearly 600 students. The faculty at St. Pius X is dedicated to Catholic Education and views Catholic Education as a “calling.” I would love to personally show you all that Saint Pius X has to offer.

St. Pius X School is a Catholic elementary school operating within the Department for Education of the Diocese of Columbus and located in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. We serve students in Preschool-Grade 8. For over 60 years, our school has been providing a tradition of educational excellence to the children in our care. Our fully-accredited school, professional faculty, and auxiliary staff bring superior academic experiences, opportunities, and programming to our students.

With Christ as the model for our faculty and the inspiration of our students, St. Pius X School provides its students with opportunities to regularly attend liturgies and participate in the sacraments; to study the Gospels and to practice their Catholic faith; to pray daily; to share in community; and to participate in global service projects. We are committed to sharing with parents the responsibility for developing Christ-centered, self-motivated, life-long learners.

OUR VALUE

St. Pius X School faculty strives to differentiate their instruction to meet the diverse needs of our learners. Our school offers the services of an intervention specialist, reading specialist, speech therapist and guidance counselor. Our school offers an advanced math curriculum for students beginning in the second semester of fourth grade. Requirements for eligibility include scoring in the 90th percentile on the standardized testing and teacher recommendation. This track allows students to take Algebra I in the eighth grade and potentially earn a year of high school credit.

All students in Grades 2-4 participate in the Pius Enrichment Program (PEP). Students are divided within their homeroom and attend PEP class each week during one quarter of the school year. This enrichment period enables students to explore different areas of mathematics in a fun and relaxed setting.
