The mission of the St. Pius X School Advisory Board is to help foster an environment of excellence and faith-based education. We are committed to supporting the school’s mission, ensuring that every student is nurtured in a Christ-centered environment that promotes academic excellence, moral development, and a lifelong love of learning and service to others.
Our Purpose
The primary purpose of the School Advisory Board is to provide the St Pius X Pastor and the Principal of St. Pius X School with counsel and advice regarding the fundamental policies and procedures of the school, as well as certain issues affecting the school, and to provide assistance and support in organizing and implementing special programs.
The membership of the school advisory board will consist of 5 group (ex-officio, non-voting) members and 12 appointed members: 8 Voting Members Appointed by Pastor of St. Pius X School, 4 Voting Members from St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish to be proposed by the Pastor of Seton and appointed by the Pastor of St. Pius X, HSA Chairperson, Athletics Chairperson, SPX Parish Council Chairperson, SPX Finance Council Chairperson, SPX Faculty Member
Members of the school advisory board shall be appointed by the pastor for a term of two years and may be reappointed for an additional one or two terms.
Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month from September through May, excluding December.
